Join Shapes Command

The Join Shapes command joins two or more shapes into a single shape. GeoBuddy will not attempt to create a contiguous path between shapes (gaps will appear between shapes which do not touch each other).

To join shapes on the map, do the following:

  1. View a map.
  2. Select two or more shapes, in the order that they should be joined.
  3. Then, do one of the following:
    • On the Tools menu, click Join.
    • Right-click on the selected shapes, and click Join Shapes.

To join shapes in the Shape List, do the following:

  1. View the Shape List.
  2. Select two or more shapes, in the order that they should be joined.
  3. Then, do one of the following:
    • On the Tools menu, click Join.
    • Right-click on the selected shapes, and click Join Shapes.
