Use the Find Geocache Logs - Search Results dialog to build up complex AND- and OR-style queries.
New Searches
To discard the results of the last search and start a new search:
- Select All in the Search list.
- Select Replace Existing in the Results list.
OR-style Searches
To find additional geocache_logs and add them to the current list of search results:
- Select All in the Search list.
- Select Add to Existing in the Results list.
Tip - To find geocache_logs placed by Bob or Fred:
- Find geocache_logs where Placed By is equal to Bob.
- Click OK to run first search.
- Find geocache_logs where Placed By is equal to Fred.
- Select All in the Search list.
- Select Add to Existing in the Results list.
- Click OK to add results of second search to the results of first search.
AND-style Searches
To narrow down the list of the previous search further:
- Select Visible in the Search list.
- Select Replace Existing in the Results list.
Tip - To find geocache logs where distance to the waypoint HOME is less than 5 miles AND distance to the waypoint WORK is less than 10 miles:
- Set HOME as Active Point.
- Sort Geocache Log List by Distance to Active Point.
- Find geocache logs where distance to point is less than 5 miles.
- Click OK to run first search.
- Set WORK as Active Point.
- Find geocache logs where distance to point is less than 10 miles.
- Select Visible in the Search list.
- Select Replace Existing in the Results list.
- Click OK to run second search on the geocache logs that were found in the first search.
